Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog. In this post, we dive into how brands use customer stories as a content strategy to promote their brand on social media.

The brand “Siete Family Foods,” is a Mexican-American brand originating from South Texas that was founded when the family encountered a challenge, a member of their family dealt with multiple debilitating autoimmune conditions. The family paired up together to tackle this issue by finding how food could heal them, instead of hurt them.
What started with grain-free tortillas exploded into a successful company with a variety of foods available across major retailers throughout the nation. The company overall states they aim to:
“advocate for healthier lifestyles among Latino families.”
In one post from the brand's newsletter, they sat down and interviewed a customer called Emily Sosolik, as pictured below with her sister Madison.

Emily left of her younger sister Madison on the right.
The brand relates to the viewer by bringing in a college student who partakes in common activities such as hiking and walking her dogs. Emily and her sister however experienced daily allergies, migraines, and stomach aches before discovering that a gluten-free diet relieved these symptoms.
Emily expressed in the interview how the change in routine affected her lifestyle, having to now be extra cautious at grocery stores due to the "lack" of convenient or tasty "non-mushy" grain-free options available. Now, her meals involve more effort and planning, but Emily outwardly promotes the brand saying how Siete tortillas contribute to changing this problem since "tasty" items like this are “impossible” to come by.
Emily says that because of Siete Foods, she can now enjoy a twist on her family's nostalgic traditional foods she thought she would never come close to tasting again. Overall, I feel this brand did a good job at telling the customer's story and promoting their company simultaneously.
See you next time!
